Step 3: Building the Future Through Networking

Networking is an important part of "team building" - a vital step towards becoming a great agent. The conference will feature two social functions. The Welcome Reception on Wednesday evening will give attendees the chance to mix and mingle with Company Representatives and Sponsors.  Thursday evening, attendees will be taken offsite to experience Bloomington at its best and further network in a relaxed atmosphere.

Step 4: Building the Future Through Organization
All the little details you need to know…

Attendance:
The conference is open to everyone, but we highly encourage Young Agents to attend. The programs and activities have been specifically designed to target the Young Agent demographic. Attendees do not have to be a member of the Young Agents Network or the IIA of Illinois.

Continuing Education Credits:
The conference is filed for twelve (12) hours of IL continuing education credit. You must attend all educational sessions to earn the total credits. Questions on continuing education should be directed to the IIA Office (800) 628-6436.

Cash & Door Prizes:
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, door prizes will be awarded at each education session and at the end of the conference. You must be in attendance to win.

Dress:
Appropriate business casual attire is permissible for all educational sessions and meal functions. Appropriate attire: jeans, slacks, shorts, skirt, dress, polo, blouse.

Wednesday evening's reception & Thursday night's events are both very casual.

What to Bring:
Business cards-This is a great opportunity to meet people, agents and company representatives throughout the state so bring plenty to handout.

A jacket or sweater-We will do our best to keep the room at a comfortable temperature, but just in case, bring something to slip on if you get too cool.

Calendar - Make sure you bring your 2011 calendar to “Save the Date” for more Young Agent and IIA of Illinois events.
