Frequently Asked Questions

Since the introduction of IIA of IL's Website Initiative program, several questions have arisen. Following are some of the most frequently asked questions.

1. Can I use my own email address on my website?
Yes. Email piiai-service@eosinc.com your email address and we can send all your quote forms to your existing address. We can also set all your email recipients to their existing email addresses.

2. How do I set-up my email?
Click here for Email Assistance. These tutorials have instructions and pictures to help you set-up your email in different programs.

3. How can I change the password for my email address?
Send your email address, old password and new password to piiai-service@eosinc.com or fax to (217) 241-6001.

4. How can I get more email addresses at my domain?
To purchase more email addresses, email piiai-service@eosinc.com or fax (217) 241-6001 the new email addresses and passwords.

5. Can I use the web browser to get my email?
Yes, visit http://www.eosinc.com/scripts/webmail.pl to access the webmail.

6. Can I change the color or graphics on the template?
The colors for the templates cannot be easily changed. The name graphic on the top bar and the body graphic on the home page can be changed. Please email rromines@iiaofillinois.org with any changes for these graphics. The pictures of the families (template 1 & 2) and boardroom (template 3) cannot be changed.

7. How do I update the information on my website?
To make changes to a template website, please send the information you want changed to Rachel Romines at rvose@iiaofillinois.org or fax to (217) 793-6744 or fill out our template change form online at www.piiai.org/webfactory.

8. How can I register my site with search engines?
We can register your webpage at the top 13 search engines for a $20.00 set-up and $9.95 per each submission. Every time you submit to a search engine your name goes to the top of the list. You can submit as often as you like. Please email piiai-service@eosinc.com your web address and payment method.

9. I currently have an existing website. Can I move it to IIA of IL's hosting services?
Yes, but there are several steps that must be taken in order to do so. The best thing to do to get the procedure started is to complete the automated hosting form at www.piiai.org/templateforms/webhosting.html. The EOS staff will then get in touch with you to discuss what must be done to move your website.

10. How much will this program cost?
This program is being offered as a benefit to IIA of IL member agencies, so there is no cost outside of your member dues, unless you elect additional services such as search engine registration, customized website design, or additional email boxes. General maintenance to your site is included as part of the package.
