Committees and their Primary Functions...
Education – Primary function is to research, develop, and promote education and training programs for agents and their employees throughout the state.
Planning & Coordination – Primary function is to develop long-range goals and objectives for the IIA of Illinois
and recommend a time table for achievement of these goals.
Young Agents – Primary function is to develop programs and activities directed toward the young
insurance agent (40 years old and younger) with the intent to involve this segment of the membership in IIA of Illinois activities.
Government Relations – Primary function is to develop and direct a political action program working with the Vice-President of Government Relations by establishing and coordinating a legislative agenda for the current session and on a long range basis.
Budget & Finance – Primary function is to prepare a budget of the estimated receipts and expenses for the upcoming fiscal year and advise the association on all financial matters.
Agency/Company Relations – Primary function is to maintain IIA of Illinois Member Agency/Company Relations program and report to membership with results of company interviews.

InsurPac/Federal Affairs – Monitor and report federal government affairs information to the Government Relations Committee and recommend appropriate action as IIA of IL's response to such matters. Assist in the promotion and direction of the Federal Legislative Conference activities in coordination with the Government Relations Committee.
Partners – Create and advance a joint program of IIA of Illinois and specific insurance companies for the purpose of establishing a grassroots network to effectively communicate and Influence legislative and regulatory issues for the common good of the residents of the State of Illinois.
IIAPAC – To raise funds that are used to recruit and elect those candidates that support an open and competitive insurance market in Illinois and promote the benefits of the American Agency System.
CIC – Plan and monitor CIC Institutes and the James K. Ruble Seminars.
